Peanut and chickpea chat

Ingredients

  1. Raw peanuts / verusenaga –  half cup
  2. Chickpea / kala chana / chanigalu  –  half cup
  3. Finely chopped onions  –  one-fourth cup
  4. Salt  –  to taste
  5. Chaat masala powder  –  one tsp
  6. Lime juice  –  two tsp
  7. Red chilli powder  –  one-fourth tsp
  8. Chopped coriander  –  three tblsp

Procedure

Soak raw peanuts and chickpea in water for six hours. Boil them in pressure cooker up to three whistles ( add salt while boiling). Once the pressure is realised, remove from cooker and drain the water. Transfer them into a bowl and add red chilli powder, chat masala, lime juice and coriander. Mix well. Ready to serve…..
