Tofu and bell pepper curry

Tofu and bell pepper curry


  1. Extra firm tofu cubes  –  two cups
  2. Red bell pepper  –  one and half cup (cubes)
  3. Onion  –  one cup
  4. Finely chopped green chilly  –  two tsp
  5. Roasted jeera powder  –  one tsp
  6. Roasted cumin powder  –  one tsp
  7. Red chilli powder  –  one tsp
  8. Amchur powder  –  one tsp
  9. Turmeric powder  –  one-fourth tsp
  10. Chopped garlic  –  one tsp
  11. chopped ginger   –  one tsp
  12. Roasted sesame seeds  –  one tsp
  13. Salt  –  to taste
  14. Chopped coriander leaves  –  two tblsp
  15. Olive oil  –  two tsp


In a hot pan add oil, ginger, garlic and green chilli. Fry until garlic starts to change color. Now add onions and bell pepper. Fry for a two minutes. Now add tofu, turmeric powder, cumin powder, jeera powder, amchur powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well. Cover it with lid. Cook in medium flame until all vegetables are soft. It will take 10 mins. Now add coriander leaves and sesame seeds. Ready to serve…..
