Vegetable fried rice


  1. Cooked basmati rice  – one and half cup
  2. Sliced red bell pepper  –  one-forth cup
  3. Sliced green capsicum  –  one-fourth cup
  4. Sliced cabbage –  one-fourth cup
  5. Sliced red onion  –  four tblsp
  6. Sliced carrot –  four tblsp
  7. Finely chopped spring onions  –  half cup
  8. Finely chopped beans  –  beans
  9. Corn  –  three tblsp
  10. Chopped garlic  –  one
  11. Soya sauce  –   one and half tblsp
  12. Green chilli sauce  –  one tsp (depends on spice)
  13. Lime juice  –  one tblsp
  14. Salt  –  to taste
  15. Olive oil  –  one and half tblsp
  16. Pepper powder  –  one-fourth tsp


In a pan add oil. Once oil is hot, add chopped garlic, onions, red bell pepper, green capsicum, beans, carrot, spring onion, corn, cabbage  (cook untlil vegetables are slightly tender). Mix well and toss for two minutes. Now add soya sauce, green chilli sauce, salt, lime juice, pepper powder and rice. Mix well.
