Green chana curry


  1. Fresh green chana  –  one and half cup
  2. Gram flour/besan  –  two tblsp
  3. Red chilli powder  –  one tsp
  4. Salt  –  to taste
  5. Crushed cloves  –  two
  6. Oil  –  two tblsp
  7. Water  –  one and half cup
  8. Jeera seeds  –  half tsp
  9. Mustard seeds  –  half tsp
  10. Curry leaves  –  few
  11. Coriander leaves  –  few


In a  food processor add green chana and crush it lightly. In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, jeera seeds, curry leaves and turmeric powder. Once thadaka is done add besan flour and crushed chana. Fry for a minute. Now add red chilli powder, salt, coriander leaves, crushed cloves and water. Mix well, cover it. Cook until chana is soft. Serve with paratha, chapatis, roti…….
