  1. Toor daal  –  three-fourth cup
  2. Goungara leaves  –  three cups
  3. Chopped onions  –  one-fourth cup
  4. Green chilli  –  ten
  5. Garlic  –  two
  6. Salt  –  to taste
  7. Turmeric powder  –  pinch
  8. Coriander powder  –  one tsp
  9. Oil  –  two tsp
  10. Jeera seeds  –  half tsp
  11. Urad daal  –  half tsp
  12. Mustard seeds  –  half tsp
  13. Curry leaves  –  few
  14. Red chilli  –  two


In a bowl add toor daal, garlic, green chilli and onions. In another bowl add gounara leaves. Place them in a  pressure cooker. Cook up to three whistle. Turn off hte heat and cool it . Remove them. Mix goungara leaves and toor daal mixture togeather. Now add turmeric leaves, salt, coriander powder. Mix well and boil it. In another pan prepare tadka withoil, urad daaal, jeera seeds, mustard seeds, asfotedia, cuury leaves and red chills. Add to boiled pappu. Serve with rice, jowar roti…….
