Beetroot patties

  1. Mashed beetroot  –  one cup (Boiled and peeled)
  2. Mashed Potato  –  one cup  (Boiled and peeled)
  3. Roasted crushed ground nuts – five tblsp
  4. Grated raw mango  –  five tblsp
  5. Chopped  green chilli  –  one tblsp
  6. Salt  –  to taste
  7. Oats  –  one-fourth cup
  8. Grated ginger  –  one-fourth tsp
  9. Oil  –  to fry
  10. Bread crumbs  –  one-fourth cup


In a bowl add mashed potato, mashed beetroot, oats, crushed groundnuts, grated raw mango, green chilli, salt and grated ginger. Mix well. Make round patties and roll them in the bread crumbs. Heat the pan and put five tsp of oil and spread oil all over the pan. Once oil is hot, place patties and fry both sides until they are golden brown color. Fry in medium flame.
