Raw mango rice


  1. Cooked rice  –  one cups
  2. Oil  –   four tblsp
  3. Mustard seeds  –  half tsp
  4. Jeera seeds  –  half tsp
  5. Urad daal  –  one tsp
  6. Chana daal  –  one tsp
  7. Ground nuts  –  two tblsp
  8. Curry leaves  –  few
  9. Coriander leaves  –  few
  10. Chopped potato  –  one-fourth cup
  11. Chopped brinjal  –  one-fourth cup
  12. Turmeric powder  –  one-fourth tsp
  13. Grated raw mango  –  one-fourth cup
  14. Salt  –  to taste
  15. Chilli paste  –  one tsp


Prepare tadka with oil, chana daal, urad daal, mustard seeds, jeera seeds and curry leaves. Now add chopped potatoes , brinjal and turmeric powder. Cover it and fry potatoes and brinjal are soft. Keep mixing in between. Add grated raw mango, chilli paste and salt. Mix well. Fry for a mintue. Now add rice and mix well. Granish with coriander leaves. Ready to eat………….
