Coconut with curd chutney


  1. Fresh coconut  –  three tblsp
  2. Curd  –  one cup
  3. Pickle liquid  –  one-fourth tsp
  4. Salt  –  to taste
  5. Green chilli  –  one
  6. Water  –  one-fourth cup
  7. Chopped onions  –  five tblsp
  8. Coriander leaves  –  three tblsp
  9. Curry leaves  –  few
  10. Urad daal  –  one-fourth tsp
  11. Jeera seeds  –  one-fourth tsp
  12. Asfotedia  –  pinch
  13. Turmeric powder  –  pinch
  14. Mustard seeds  –  one-fourth tsp
  15. Oil  –  half tsp


In a mix jar add coconut, green chilli, pickle juice and salt. Make a fine powder. Transfer in to a bowl. Now add curd, water, chopped onions and coriander leaves. Mix well. prepare tadka with oil, urad daal, mustard seeds, jeera seeds, curry leaves, asfotedia and turmeric powder. Add tadka to the chutney. Ready to serve………….
