Ingredients

  1. All purpose flour  –  one cup
  2. Melted butter  –  half cup + two tblsp
  3. Baking powder  –  two pinch
  4. Powdered sugar  –  one cup

Procedure

Preheat the oven to 350 degreeF. Sift all purpose flour, powdered sugar and baking powder. To this add melted butter little at a time and knead like a dough. Sprinkle little all-purpose flour on the rolling surface and then roll the dough to half inch thickness. Now use a cookie shape cutter to carve out cookie shapes.

Place the cookies in a oven-safe baking tray (cover the tray with foil). Leave enough space (about an inch) between the cookies while laying them out on the tray. Bake for 15-20 mins or until the cookie edges are light brown. Remove the tray from oven. The cookies should remain on the tray till they have cooled down. Ready to taste.
