Tindura chutney

Tindura chutney


  1. Chopped tindura  –  two cups
  2. Grated fresh coconut  –  half cup
  3. Green chillis  –  three to four
  4. Salt  –  to taste
  5. Garlic cloves  –  two
  6. Chopped  onions  –  half cup
  7. Coriander leaves  –  one-third cup
  8. Oil  –  one tblsp
  9. Mustard seeds  –  half tblsp
  10. Jeera seeds  –  half tblsp
  11. Urad daal  –  half tblsp
  12. Asafoetida  –  pinch
  13. Curry leaves  –  few
  14. Turmeric powder  –  pinch
  15. Lime juice  –  one tblsp


In a mixer jar add green chills, coriander leaves, garlic, salt. Make a coarse paste. Now add tindura, onions, coconut. Make a coarse paste. Prepare tadka with oil, jeera seeds, mustard seeds, urad daal, asafoetida, turmeric powder, curry leaves. Add tadka and lime juice to the coarse paste. Mix well.
