Garlic powder / Mirappodi / vellipaya karam

Ingredients

  1. Dry grated coconut  –  one cup
  2. Garlic  –  one whole garlic
  3. Red chilli powder  –  two cups
  4. Salt  –  one cup
  5. Ghee  –  one tblsp

Procedure

Put all the above ingredients in a mixer  jar. Grind these into a fine powder. In a pan add ghee and powder. Fry it until aroma comes. Cool it and store in a jar. You can use it  for any vegetable / curry.

You will get  two cups with above measurements.

Expiry

Store in glass or plastic container.  Good for two months. ( you can store in refrigerator also)
